Janet Bergeson Obituary
Janet Marie Bergeson, 68, passed away Friday, April 18, 2025 at her home in Dixon, Illinois. Janet was born on June 24, 1957, the daughter of Dallas E. and Francis J. (Simmons) Durbin in Joliet, IL.
Janet is survived by her children: Jessie Burns of Collinsville, IL, Christina Burns of Rochelle, IL, Judy Needs of Elizabeth, IL, Darryl Bergeson of Lake St. Louis, MO, David Bergeson of Polo, IL, Dale (Erin) Bergeson of Rochelle, IL, James Raleigh of Benton, KY and Tanya Raleigh of Rochelle, IL; long time partner, Tom Raleigh of Dixon, IL; five brothers: Dallas "Sonny" Durbin of Rochelle, IL, Allan Durbin of WI, Johnny Durbin of TX, Danny Stewart of CO, Jeb Stewart of West Brooklyn, IL; two sisters: Nancy Durbin Smith and Roberta Stewart both of NC; 26 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Stewart; sister, Velma Durbin and most recently her daughter-in-law, Andrea Bergeson.
Visitation will be from 9:30 - 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday with Judy Williams officiating. Burial will be at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle.
